(click image to enlarge)         Large Candy Bowl - Artist: Donovan Brooke     This bowl was a demo at a recent EDC open house. Near the beginning of the process, the body toward the neck became a bit cold and produced a crack. The piece however, stayed on the blow pipe and made it to the transfer to the punty and I was able to fuse the crack back together. You can still see a hint of the fused crack in the detail photo! I consider this piece to be a marvelous example of an off-hand piece that has character! :-) Size is about 17in. wide handle to handle.
